Absolutely! Each Fall, iZone puts out a call to NYC educators inviting them to submit topics of interests. Topics that garner the most interest are select to hold sessions. The window to create an Affinity Group for school is closed. When we are accepting ideas for Affinity Groups, here are a few helpful tips for creating a group:
- Pair up with a co-leader and complete an Affinity Group Proposal. Have an idea but need a co-leader who has expertise or interest in the same topic? Find a co-leader by posting on our Affinity Group Leader Networking Space.
- Select a topic by engaging in discussion with peers. Interested in this opportunity, but not sure what topic you want to lead a group around? Check out the Networking Space to review current requests for co-leaders.
