Blended Learning is an instructional model that combines the best of teacher-led instruction with the smart use of technology. Successful blended instruction leverages technology to allow students to self-pace and take ownership of their learning. It provides students with greater choices of materials and learning modalities, while extensively covering the skills needed to compete in the 21st century economy. The Blended Learning Institute offers pre-service and in-service teachers a range of program tracks that combine hands on workshops with online learning, with the goal of preparing teachers to lead 21st century classrooms.

The Blended Learning Track is open to all in-service middle and high school math and science teachers. No current or previous affiliation with Pace is necessary to qualify for the certificate in Blended Learning. Please note this certificate recognizes your successful completion of the program. It is not a state-recognized certification, nor does it count towards University credits.
