iZone Share Event: A Day of Inspiration

iZoneShareAgenda

Learn, Share, Innovate

Are you a curious professional committed to innovating education? Then you should attend our radically collaborative end-of-year sharing event!

We are looking forward to coming together to share, learn, connect and celebrate our iZone work.  Be sure to check out the iZone Share Agenda.

We will kick things off at around 4:00 (with music from a student band from East Side Community HS) and will run until 7:30 (closing things out with some great give-aways).

In addition to hearing from colleagues across the city, we are excited to announce our keynote speaker: Heather Staker, Senior Research Fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute and an expert in blended learning and personalized instruction. She will begin her interactive talk at 5:00. Because we want to make this evening truly personalized, we are even flipping the keynote. To that end, please take a few minutes to view the videos linked on this page. Heather will be referencing the blended learning models in these videos during her keynote.

To learn more about Tuesday, including the wide variety of topics at tables, panels, and talks please take a look at the agenda.

Get Inspired

On June 3rd, iZone educators will share their creative practices, ideas, prototypes, and connections formed over the past school year.

You’ll hear from folks involved in our Blended Learning Institute, which guides teachers in fine-tuning their digital instruction. You’ll also learn about our design thinking work, and how educators are applying it to their practice. Some educators meet at monthly Affinity Groups, formed around a common interest or practice.

Other educators are involved in our Essential Allies Challenge, and have formed design teams that are prototyping new ways of engaging parents, families, and other essential student allies in their communities…and so much more!

Learn about our innovative work, eat some great food, and network with other iZone educators.
